How to rent?

Please complete the online booking form and select the chosen vehicle type and dates required, alternatively, please contact us on WhatsApp or phone us on +971 54 279 7940 and we will be able to process your booking.

Legal Age

Every hirer should be no less than 21 years of age.

What documents are needed and is my license accepted?

Required documents for renting a vehicle from us:

  • UAE Residents:
    • UAE Driving License
    • Emirates ID
    • Passport with Residence visa
  • Non-UAE Residents:
  • International Driving Permit / GCC driving license / valid driving license from their country of origin (refer to Driving License Exemptions list)
    • Passport with entry stamp
    • Renters from GCC and the countries below are able to use their driving licenses:

Is insurance included?

All vehicles rented include basic insurance as standard. The basic insurance included does not however prevent the renter from being liable for accidents. Please refer to our T&Cs for further details.

Can I smoke in the vehicle?

Smoking is not permitted, should the user of the vehicle be found smoking in the car, a smoking charge will be levied as per our T&Cs.

What happens if a meet in an accident?

Please notify Sterling car rental LLC immediately in the event of an accident.You will be required to obtain an accident report by calling the Police 999 and reporting the accident to the authorities.

  • Please get clear pictures of the accident scene and the vehicle
  • Please get a clear picture of the vehicle Mulkiya and plate number
  • Please get a clear picture of the other parties driving license
  • Once a report has been provided, please send a copy of it to us.

Do I pay a deposit?

  • A security deposit of AED 1000 is to be paid at the time of renting.
  • The security deposit amount may vary depending on the category of the vehicle rented/ residency status of renter.
  • The deposit will be held for 30 calendar days following the check-in date to account for fines accrued after the rental period and will be refunded to the customer immediately after the 30 day period.

What about vehicle maintenance and services?

All rental fees include routine service charges. The first service fee is covered at 1000KM.After the first service, subsequent services will be required every 10,000KM.The renter must inform Sterling car rental LLC at least 5 days prior to the next service.

Can I take the car to Oman or any other country?

All vehicles leased from Sterling car rental LLC are permitted to be driven exclusively within the geographical borders of the United Arab Emirates.

Payment Methods

Two payment methods are available:

  • Reserve and Pay Now, or
  • Reserve and Pay at Location.

You can pay either online through payment link or via our POS card machine at time of delivery. We accept most, commonly used credit or debit cards.
